I’ve worked with a wide range of clients from all walks of life: preschoolers to college and professional athletes, generally healthier adults desiring to lose or gain weight to adults recovering from injury, cancer or stroke. No matter the circumstances, my goal is to make you healthier, stronger and more capable than ever before. And to do that, I make sure to meet you where you’re at and go at a pace that will ensure we accomplish your goals.
To get you to your fitness goal and make you feel and look YOUR BEST, and of course, have FUN while doing it!
I am well versed in weight training of all kinds but my specialty is calisthenics-body weight exercise. I strongly believe that mastering our own bodies leads to greater results and quality of life in the long run. I combine calisthenics together with primal movements innate to our being to enhance both strength AND functionality.
Where We Meet
I generally meet at a local park, but if you’d prefer your home/gym/work office/mountain trail, I will be happy to do that.
I understand how intimidating it is to get into training, so it is important for me that you feel comfortable and enjoy our sessions.
I’ve been massaging consistently for 12 years and have well over 1000 hours of experience. I’ve worked in spas, chiropractic offices, gyms, physical therapy clinics, and privately at the homes of my clients.
To provide relief by breaking down any knots or tension I encounter in your body to allow for better circulation, breathability, and overall health.
A unique fusion of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lomi Lomi, Thai, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release and Energy Work to give you one soothing and revitalizing experience that WILL make a difference in how you feel. The massage sessions I offer are strictly therapeutic in every sense of the word.
I will communicate with you during the session as needed to ensure that I offer you the most optimal experience along with your utmost comfort.
Where We Meet
The massage will be done at the comfort of your own home.
I will assess your current fitness level, what specific goals you have and discuss what the most efficient plan would be for you to achieve those goals.

“When I met with Guy for our first session in November of 2014, I hadn’t exercised in over a year, I had no motivation to workout and wasn’t happy with my fitness level. He was so understanding and was able to train me in a way that pushed me to my limit yet made me have fun doing it. I used to train in CrossFit group classes and had many different trainers over the years, but I can honestly say that Guy is simply the best! I love how involved he gets in our sessions! With his extensive knowledge of exercise and nutrition, no questions I have for him go unanswered. I can really tell how passionate and driven he is to get me to reach my fitness goals, and that’s made me stronger and happier than I’ve ever been! Thanks Guy!”— Jen M., 42
“I am 58 years old and been a distance runner for 43 of those years. While running is good for endurance fitness and keeps your weight down in fact mine was too low, it doesn’t make you strong or functionally fit in my opinion. So my issue is more challenging than your typical weight loss story. Inspired by my daughters gymnastics and a childhood desire to be stronger, especially in the upper body, rooted from embarrassing myself in PE while in school, I started introducing calisthenics into my workouts six years ago and now do mostly calisthenics and not so much running. The training made me a lot stronger but I wanted to be able to do intermediate calisthenics and felt I needed some professional help for that. I met Guy Catz through Instagram and found out he is an amazing athlete, a rock climber, American ninja warrior contestant, a calisthenics specialist, and a personal trainer. Because I have been at this for 6 years, am kind of old and also autistic having poor coordination and balance, I knew I would be difficult to train at this point. But Guy changed all that. He is as passionate about your fitness as he is about his. At the same time he is also humble, kind, and not full of himself. Because of my past, I struggle with low self esteem and self doubt but he believes in me and has me doing stuff that I thought was beyond me. In one session he had me do some progression movements and like that I was doing muscleups. It was totally like magic how he was able to do that considering this is something I struggle with a lot to do on my own. In addition, I can do lockouts, hand clap push-ups, hand clap pullups, archer pullups and now working on levers and he has other plans for me. I love training with him, it’s like a play date rather than a workout and am always so sad when it ends. What always helps is that he believes in me when I did not believe in my self. For the first time I am actually feeling better about who I am and believing that I can get better and stronger thanks to Guy. Also because he is so amazingly athletic he can demonstrate all these movements and trains right along with you. He makes this fun and training with him is the highlight of my week. I have done crossfit and worked with another trainer and they have been good and helpful, but Guy is absolutely the best for me. Thank you so much for training me.”— Bill R, 58
